Additional Information
1-pass 600dpi high-definition printing
- 1,280 nozzles, 150 dpi× 4 rows of nozzle arrangement for 600 dpi high-definition printing with a single head. In addition, the ink flow path is separated, and up to two colors of ink can be ejected with one head.
In addition, two models are available for different ink viscosities to support a wide range of inks.
Grayscale Support
- A single dot achieves excellent tonal expression of up to 4 shades.
High durability and long service life
- Stainless steel construction is designed and recognized by Ricoh customers to offer robustness in industrial print settings.
Ink Circulation Structure
-
Ricoh's unique ink circulation structure constantly circulates ink in the vicinity of the nozzle, preventing the nozzle from drying out and ink particles from settling, thereby achieving high discharge stability. In addition, both products are compatible with a wide range of inks using Ricoh's proprietary stainless steel bonding technology, improving the reliability of the system as follows.
- Improved reliability in systems with highly sediment able inks (e.g., pigment inks, whites, metallic)
- Prevents ink from drying out, and quick-drying inks can also be used
- Removes air bubbles generated in the liquid chamber to achieve self-healing from non-discharge
- Achieves both high image quality and high productivity, and improves reliability in a single-pass system*
*Single-pass method: A method in which the substrate is transported while the print head is fixed, and printing is completed in a single pass (transport).
Droplet control including multi-drop
- Ink ejected from the nozzle at high speed is instantly integrated before it reaches the media surface. It controls the amount of droplets and allows free dispensing from small to large droplets.
